If we say we're going to #prayforparis and #prayfortheworld, then let us truly do so. Yes, let's #pray. Let us fall unto the ground. Let our knees hit the floor and our face kiss the dirt , with our hands clutching the soil. Yes, let's #pray. With throbbing hearts and sobbing souls, let our eyes weep tears of pain and repentance and desperation. #Pray words of anger, sorrow or despair, pray silence and doubt and fear... He does not mind. Fight Him, challenge Him, ask Him. If there is a moment to call that greater force that brought the world into existence by His name, leaving aside all the preconceived notions, judgement and pride, it is now. Because #prayer is so much more than sending good thoughts with a wishful heart. #Prayer is a conversation. A connection. An exchange. Yes, let's #pray. Because only when we truly do so, #prayer will become alive and effective and beneficial for them, for us, for the world. Yes, let's #pray.
